Northwoods Moonlight Animals in Rectangle Frame
|
My niece fell in love with a sample card on a Northwoods Rubber Stamps Sample Board. I tried to duplicate it for her. I made four of these. I was surprised at how easy it was to watercolor this. On the first card, I did have to touch up the glitter border with a Tombow marker because I didn’t notice that the Matte Accents didn’t completely fill the border space. I added more Matte Accents and glitter, but I still needed to fill in some white areas with the marker. When I made the other cards, I colored the border before applying the glitter, and I was more careful to spread the glitter to cover the entire area. That worked better.
I used the sample card in Northwoods Rubber Stamp Gallery (Winter Scenery) to help me choose my colors, and copied the blue glitter border they used.
