WF16--Negativity at its Best

I created a background with distress ink sprays. I used my feather die cut a piece of acetate to make a stencil. Then I laid the negative over my background and filled it with golden molding paste which I had color with brown paint. I used my palette knife to add texture lines in the paste. After the paste dried I lightly sanded the extraneous rough bits of paste. I added highlights to the feather with a fine sharpie marker and white pen. Added sentiment, edged the focal image paper and rounded corners. Thanks for hosting Daria!

Beautiful feather and background! Your feather looks so realistic, down to the tiny downy parts!

That is a great feather. I thought it was stamped when I first looked at it. I also like the simplicity of this card. Very pretty background. TFS
