Donna Downey Peonies Stencil & Distress Oxide Inks

This is the second time I used this stencil. The first time, I was so excited to try out my new colors of Distress Oxide Inks, I wasn't careful enough when applying it, and I ended up with two colors mixing to make an altogether different color. I added a third color to add interest, but it didn't help much. With this card, I used Tim Holtz's round ink applicator which gave me more control than the brushes I used on the first card, and I was a lot more careful about how I applied the ink.

Card:
4 ¼” x 5 ½”
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, 110-lb. cardstock
Judikins black cardstock
Donna Downey Studio Peonies Stencil, DD-013
Distress Oxide Inks—Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade, and Fire Brick
Tim Holtz round Ink Applicators (to apply ink)
Elizabeth Craft Design Die (sentiment)
Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive (for sentiment die)

The first card I made can be seen in my gallery on scrapbook.com: https://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/13464/view/5902791/-1/0/0.html.

Very soft and pretty. I am also a fan of the small round applicators. I bought a refill for them and misplaced it. I need to get looking for it!
