Dendritic Monoprint example
I made several background samples with the dendritic technique since I was have lots of fun. And I wanted to share a sample (not my swap share) since I couldn't find card samples on line. While I love the metallic silver in the background do know my it is metallic gold in real life. The shapes are solid with many thin lines within the shapes...lots of fine detail. The metallic gold is over top of a blue background that dried before I got a good print.
I embellished the diecuts with add pen and ink for the eye, beak and berries. I stamped for added dimension on the evergreens. I cut the background with the Lawn Fawns dotted rectangle die and accented it with the stardust gellyroll pen-best initial view is on left edge below the greens. I like the quiet sparkle all around. How do you make dotted edges more noticeable?
If you are too busy to play in this challenge now you may want to think about adding it to your "To try in 2017" list.
