Summer Challenge #3 - water

For the 3rd Summer Challenge, I want this to start on July 15th and run thru July 31.  Please create a project with water as your main focal point.  I will upload a sample ASAP.  Fun with water, beside water, in water, something along that line.

This is a good challenge for me as I have a newer stamp set that I have not used in a finished project that has seaside images and so on.  I am planning to participate! thanks for hosting!

I am taking a class at Craftsy called Watercolor Cards made simply and I found a great opportunity and inspiration in that class to make a card that fits this challenge.

I did not use the stamp set I originally had in mind for this card, but I did use one that I have not used in quite a while!

Here's my card.  I am taking the same class as Heidi.   I thought blue sky and water would be an easy place to start...well it came together but it did take some trials along the way.  But that's a good thing cause I wanted to learn some new things! Thanks for the challenge Ann!

I managed to use quite a few of the stamps from this stamp set for my water scene, added wink of stella to the the sun, lighthouse and waves to give it a bit of shimmer

I didn't get around to doing this challenge this month but I really enjoyed looking at all the great water cards that everyone else did.  They were all beautiful and so different from each other.
