Tim Hotlz April 2015 Tag and Instructions.

My tag for April of course doesn't use all the same things as Tim Holtz does.  Because I don't have all the same product that he uses on his tags.  I used a Paper Artsy stamp and some old Basic Grey alphabet stickers.  The ribbon is just some ribbon from my stash.  I tried to do the same design as the one Tim did.

Tim Holtz March 2015 tag and instructions.

This month I didn't have the same butterfly stamp, the silver star charm, or the same ribbon on the top.  I did the same technique on the background.  But I painted the butterfly with alcohol ink because I really didn't like it plain.  I put a pink arrow clip on the top instead of the silver star charm.  I like how the butterfly turned out.

Tim Holtz February 2015 Tag and instructions.

This month I had less product that Tim used so had to come up with alternative product.  I did not have the same odds and ends so made do with what I had.  I did not have the love card so made one with a stamp and a piece of cardstock.  I also didn't have the heart die he used to cut out the felt heart so I just skipped that and put a small chipboard heart in the oval frame.  I actually did have the arrow and the heart so used them but not in the same place on the tag.  I also added a wish bone just because I think they are cute.

My January 2015 Tag

Tim Holtz's January 2015 Tag and instructions.

I decided to play along with Tim Holtz and his monthly tags of 2015.  This is my take on the January tag.  I happened to have some of the same products he used so I also used them.  I did not have the distress glitter he used so I used gold stickles instead.  I also didn't have the glass stars so I used more chit chat stickers instead.  This was a fun exercise trying to get the same results as Tim gets on his tags.  I did not succeed in making a tag that looks just like Tim's but I do like the tag I made.
